Choosing flowers for a funeral is deeply personal. At River & Rose, I create thoughtful floral tributes that reflect the life, personality and memories of the person being remembered.
With over 20 years’ experience as a florist, I understand how important it is to get every detail right, from the choice of flowers and colours to the style and shape of the finished tribute.

I’ve been a florist for over 20 years, creating funeral flowers alongside my wedding and event work throughout my career. I’ve made thousands of funeral arrangements for families across Yorkshire, from traditional wreaths and sprays to highly personal bespoke tributes.
I understand that arranging funeral flowers can feel overwhelming at an already difficult time. My aim is to make the process as straightforward and personal as possible, giving you time to talk through what you would like and creating the flowers with care.
Funeral flowers don’t have to follow a particular style. They can be traditional and understated, natural and seasonal, colourful and full of personality, or created around something that was special to the person who has died.
From favourite flowers and colours to meaningful shapes, hobbies and interests, I can work with you to create something that feels personal and appropriate.
Something personal
Sometimes the most meaningful funeral flowers are the ones that say something about the person themselves.
A favourite flower, a much-loved garden, a passion, a hobby or even a favourite football team can become inspiration for a floral tribute.

How it works
01. Tell me about them
We’ll talk either by phone or I can come to visit you in your home about the person you’re remembering, the funeral arrangements and anything you’d like the flowers to represent.
02. Choose your flowers
We’ll discuss colours, flowers, style and budget. I can also make suggestions if you aren’t sure what you’d like.
03. I create your tribute
Your flowers are carefully made by hand in my studio using the best seasonal flowers available.
04. Delivery
I will personally deliver the flowers to the funeral director or other agreed location the morning of the funeral.
